This large UBC property includes extensive paving, heavy planting, and water features. Design involved working with limitations of existing tree root zones and many client preferences on plant selections to achieve a garden which is full, vibrant, and colorful during the particular seasons when the clients would be in town. Transplanting and care of many existing shrubs and trees during the house construction was also managed to salvage existing specimen plants and keep the project cost effective.
